Happy Birthday, Ross! I got you a present: a rare, perfectly preserved fossil of a 'Happysaurus Birthdayus.' It's from the late 'Awkwardus' period, known for its dry humor and complicated relationships. Unfortunately, it's currently stuck in a very specific stratigraphic layer... and I don't have the permit to excavate it. So, you'll get it... eventually. Probably. Maybe after another few million years, but hey, it's the thought that counts, right?

What a great place!! First time, and I'll be back! I've only rated the food 3 stars as we didn't eat there, but the prices looked fair, and the food I saw being bought out looked great. It was a Saturday afternoon, and it was happy hour, so it was only 13 for 2 cocktails (had to be the same). The staff were knowledgeable about their drinks and really friendly! Sky sports was on, which was a bonus and made us stay longer! Good selection of drinks and shots!! Can't wait to come back! The background playlist was great too! Last pic is me with the stranger who recommended coffee tequila! Try it!!

We had a meet-up of old school friends on a Sunday afternoon. We wanted a small cosy venue that could provide a buffet catering for various dietary requirements and people arriving at different times. Upstairs at Piries Bar was perfect. We gave Ross a per-person budget for food beforehand and it was excellent - the little 'Vegan' identifier sticks we a nice, and reassuring, touch for those who cared. The staff were lovely and everyone very helpful. It was the ideal place and atmosphere to facilitate a bunch of friends (and now some of their kids) having a great social time. The only downside is that the clocks must run fast or something as the time seemed to fly by :) Thanks to Ross and the Team for an ideal afternoon.

Completely unassuming bar from the outside. I'd not visited Horsham for years so came in with zero expectations but I was blown away by the quality of food, drink and especially service. Everyone was welcoming and personable- they had an option to text your order from the table and it almost felt like a waste to miss their interaction. Food was above and beyond what I expected from pub grub. Chorizo in red wine? Delish. Don't miss the awesome pub quiz as well!

Nice little bar. Good beers on tap, wide range of stronger spirits. Appetizers are delicious. Staff is helpful and works fast. Would recommend visiting if you’re somewhere nearby.

Review update from April 2025: Once again, I was visiting Horsham with my mum and we decided to have lunch at Piries Bar. We sat upstairs, which is a lovely space and after perusing the menu, went to order lunch. The barman was so lovely and welcoming. I ordered the cheese and mushroom toastie for me and mum had the panko prawns. We shared a portion of the seasoned fries as they are just so good. The lovely barman (sorry, don't know your name) went through every choice of sauce to go with the fries!! I also ordered a pot of tea and was (very easily) persuaded to have a medium size glass of very nice Rose wine. The food arrived super quick and the barman (now server) checked that we had everything we needed. He checked again whilst we were eating which I thought was a nice gesture. The food was really good. The toastie was absolutely delicious with loads of chestnut mushrooms and pesto and lashings of cheese. The fries were lovely, as ever, and such a good portion that we had to bring some home. Mum said her prawns were good and plenty of them. All in all, another great visit and we will no doubt come for lunch next time we are visiting Horsham. _______________________________________________________ We were in Horsham for the day and decided to pop in for a coffee. It's been such a long time since we last visited but it hasn't changed a bit. The service was excellent from the young man and girl on bar duty. Very friendly. Flat white coffee just 2 each. We then decided to stay for lunch and ordered two Sandos and a dish of marinated olives. Plus two glasses of rose wine. The food arrived piping hot and was delicious. We couldn't eat it all, so took some away for later. Took the olives away in a coffee cup!! I would defo recommend and will go again.
